Easter Morning

Just thinking about new things:

new babies,

new seasons,

one new day following another,

a pattern of new beginnings.

How wise our Father is,

for in sharing these things:

little Kiley,

spring time,

and a sunrise bringing a new day,

we see that He is teaching us

that we too can start again,

clean.

Because of His Son,

we have these new beginnings.

We can repent and begin anew.

Each day is a fresh start,

an opportunity to do better.

Thank you, Father, for your Son.

He is our chance and our hope.

He is our spring and our sunrise.

And so today

we can begin again.
