Tyler

One of our great assistants came back to Nebraska
to visit his old stomping grounds.
It is always hard for me to call our return missionaries by their first names
but Tyler just feels like one of our children.

He brought his lovely parents with him
so we had the treat of meeting them also.
It was easy to see where Tyler gets his poise and confidence.

He's doing well, and is moving ahead with life
and we couldn't be happier for him.
We love these wonderful young people
and will for the rest of our lives
...and beyond!

Interim Transfers

Every once in awhile we get one or two missionaries
that are off of our cycle.
Some are waiting for visa's to foreign countries
and need a place to work in the meantime.
We love it because they bring so much enthusiasm
and energy with them.
Wherever they are going to or coming from
we just love them!

Florence Day Parade

We participated in our last Florence Day Parade
with all our wonderful missionaries.
We even had Brigham Young (aka Elder Wright)
come along for the ride.
This year we had lots of missionaries working the crowds
handing out Pass Along cards,
Buffalo Chip Cookie Coupons,
and the "Come Home to Kanseville" play advertisements.
They also invited everyone to attend the program
the sisters had prepared called
"Pioneers Past and Present"
which took place in the park right after the parade.
It was so fun walking (or riding) in the parade
with all these amazing young people.
How very much we  will miss them
and all these mission traditions.

Enjoy the pictures!
