One of our great elders woke up this morning with intense pain on his right side...
We sent him to an ER and by the time he was done with all his tests
and was diagnosed it was evening.
The hospital scheduled him for surgery at 1:00 am
which turned out to be about 2:30 am.
All went well and he will be good as new in no time.
His sweet companions insisted upon staying with him through the night
so we kept each other company in the hospital waiting room.
I'm always so impressed with the love and loyalty
these young people have for their companions.
They form friendships that will last a life time and beyond.
