but after Matt has endured day after day of his mom
being gone doing missionary work,
she feels so guilty
that she tries desperately to make up for it.
Matthew is a sweet, patient guy
who never complains.
We can always count on him to be
in the right place, doing the right thing
even if we aren't at home with him.
Thanks, Matt, you are a wonderful son,
and you are serving the Lord in your way,
right along with us.
