Elder Bowyer setting up for training.
The Missionary Department has developed a new training program
to be carried out in the field.
Instead of Zone Conferences held monthly
they are now held quarterly and
replacing them is what is called Specialized Training.
This is specific training targeted
to meet the needs of individual missionaries.
To prepare we sent out a survey asking each missionary
how these meetings could best help them improve in their work.
Then we prepared according to our findings.

Elder Hudspeth and Elder Johnson,
Zone Leaders in Council Bluffs
As in all our meetings the Zone Leaders conduct
and make sure everything runs smoothly.
Some of our lovely sisters.
A few group shots at the close of the session.
Some of our great elders.
When you start with such great missionaries
as we have here in NOM,
sometimes it's hard to know how to help them
get any better.
-But we all have room for improvement
and we know that these training sessions
will help us teach more powerfully
and have greater faith to find those the Lord has prepared.

It's always so great to look on the blog and see some pics of our Sister Lawlor and all the other beautiful sisters and great elders. It's always fun to see pictures of what she writes home about. Thank you Sister Kunz!
Thanks so much Sister Kunz! I have the biggest smile on my face right now after seeing that great photo of you and Sister Hale and the one with all the sisters.
Love it. I feel so blessed to have had two opportunities to speak at such events, even though I am not a missionary. I will gladly accept more invitations. Thank you so much for your invitations and welcome-ness.
My hope is to give you a little glimpse of what they do out here. They are truly remarkable men and women and we sure love them.
Thank you for sharing these pictures and your words. As a mother of a missionary in your great mission, Elder Hudspeth, I love seeing what's happening in the mission. Thank you so much for your blog, Sister Kunz!
