Zoo Trip

No Kunz holiday would be complete
without a trip to our zoo.

Christmas Morning Mess

Thanks to all for the wonderful
Christmas presents and wishes.

Christmas Morning and Gifts of Service

Merry Christmas to all!

Christmas Lights

On the way to delivering Christmas goodies
we came upon two amazing houses.
Cars were lined up for blocks
just to pass slowly by and gaze
at this Christmas display.
Wow!

This house had a sign in front telling us
to tune our radios to a certain station
and when we did
we realized that all the lights
blinked and flashed in time with the music.
Wow!

Omahans can really celebrate!

Christmas Eve Dinner

Another yummy meal with the Senior Missionaries
and our young Sisters.

Followed my singing and games.
We slipped out a little early
so that we could get to all our
family traditions.

Surprise Outing

Have you noticed that your kids never want to do anything
that you ask them about ahead of time?
It always sounds "BOERING" to them.
Right?
So we told our kids that we had a surprise day planned...
First we went to the General Dodge House.
This is an old restored victorian home
built by one of Omaha's
famous founders...

which they throughly enjoyed.
Then to lunch at Ho Huts, their favorite restaurant,
(we knew they would like that part of the day.)

Next the Union Pacific Railroad Museum...
with lots of miniature trains
and fun things to learn and do.

And, yes, they enjoyed that too.

Great day!
(Thanks mom and dad.)

Christmas Cookies

My big grown up kids requested
that we make sugar cookies and decorate them
as one of our holiday activities.

I was thrilled to make that happen.

Such creativity...

such concentration...

and apparantly
very good too.

Click on the picture to enlarge and
see if you can find:
a shark
Abraham Lincoln
a kitty face
an ear of corn
an angry octopus
and a little man sitting on the potty...?
I promise I gave them Christmas cookie cutters!!!

Yummmmmmmmm....
